Help two cafes’ Indiegogo campaigns

Healthy World Cafe in York, Pa., and F.A.R.M. Cafe in Boone, N.C., are seeking contributions through Indiegogo campaigns, and request the public’s help before Sept. 9. Both cafes opened in 2012. First international cafe opens, in Netherlands

GEEF! Café opened in Rotterdam Netherlands in June 2014. It is the first international café to use the One World Everybody Eats model for a Pay-What-You-Can café. Judith Manshanden attended the OWEE Summit in New Jersey in January 2013 and worked hard to build her team and their dream of a café. OWEE announces first recipients of the Perroti Grants

  A new refrigeration unit at Tulsa’s Table in Oklahoma was made possible by Perroti Grant funds.   The board of directors of One World Everybody Eats has announced five recipients of the Perroti Grants, made possible by a gift from a donor wanting to increase the amount of fresh food that cafes could make available to the communities and their customers. Fresh food grants available

In late 2013, OWEE received a $20,000 award from Patrick Perotti, a partner with Dworken and Bernstein.  Patrick pursues class action settlements and donates the remainder funds to nonprofits. The purpose of this donation is to foster a greater use and distribution of fresh food in our network of Community Cafés.  The Board has established a new program to solicit requests for grants from the OWEE Network.
